Founder & President
Frank Avino is the Founder and President of Modern Development Group, a Chicago-area construction company built on integrity, craftsmanship, and long-term relationships. Since founding the company in 2003, Frank has grown MDG from a small, hands-on operation into a trusted builder serving residential and commercial clients throughout Chicago and the surrounding communities.
With more than 25 years of construction experience, Frank’s work spans custom homes, residential renovations, home additions, restaurant and retail buildouts, commercial tenant improvements, concrete, asphalt, and paving projects. Modern Development Group has completed work for homeowners, local businesses, recognizable national brands, and major construction companies, including Walsh Construction.
Frank remains personally involved from the first conversation through project completion. He believes successful construction requires clear communication, practical problem-solving, and an owner who remains accountable when unexpected issues arise.
